Ministry of Economy
The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Kosovo is a government institution responsible for drafting and implementing policies enhancing economic development, cooperation and attraction of foreign investments, increased competitiveness, and a reliable market. The mission of the institution in to ensure sustainable and perspective development of energy and mining resources, telecommunication, and information technology, and improve the efficiency in public enterprise administration.
Kosovo Energy Efficiency Agency
The Kosovo Agency for Energy Efficiency (KAEE) is an executive institution under the Ministry of Economy. KAEE implements energy efficiency policies through evaluation of energy saving opportunities and implementation of energy efficiency measures in all sectors of energy consumption.
Kosovo Energy Efficiency Fund
The Kosovo Energy Efficiency Fund, as an important independent, autonomous and sustainable entity has been established by passing Law No. 06/L-079 on Energy Efficiency, to achieve the objectives of the Republic of Kosovo in the Energy Efficiency by promoting, supporting and implementing Energy Efficiency measures, as well as attracting and managing financial resources in order to finance and implement investment projects in the area of Energy Efficiency in a sustainable manner.
Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade
The Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade is a government institution responsible for drafting and implementing policies on Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade.
Kosovo Investment and Enterprise Support Agency (KIESA)
The Kosovo Investment and Enterprise Support Agency (KIESA) is the Kosovar state agency mandated to promote and support investments, exports, tourism, small and medium-sized enterprises, and special economic zones in the Republic of Kosovo.
Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development
The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development oversees polices and implements laws for the development of agriculture, including cattle, plant production, rural development, and setting standards for maintenance. It facilitates development of credit schemes for the support of agriculture, forestry, and activities for rural development in the private sector.
Ministry of Environment, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure
The Ministry of Environment, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure is responsible for the establishing and implementation of the legislation in the sectors of environment, water, housing, spatial planning, and infrastructure. The mission of the institution is to protect the environment and formulate policies of rational utilization of natural resources and their restoration.
Ministry of Finance, Labor and Transfers
The Ministry of Finance, Labor and Transfers of Kosovo is the agency of the Government of Kosovo in charge of public finances of Kosovo. It also includes the Kosovo Tax Authority and Kosovo Customs.
