ENERGY SUSTAINABILITY ACTIVITY

The USAID’s Energy Sustainability Activity is a five-year initiative to improve energy security and reliability for people and businesses throughout Kosovo. One of the aims of this program is to promote youth workforce integration, from marginalized communities and others, to intern with key government institutions and private developers engaged in Kosovo’s renewable energy sector.

NEW ENERGY INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

Many of Kosovo’s prominent energy companies and institutions, both public and private, will host interns and engage them directly in renewable energy activities, such as installation support, research, data analysis and forecasting, data collection, digitalization, outreach and information dissemination. The program will enable interns to identify potential job opportunities with their host employers and others, supporting Kosovo’s youth to continue their engagement in the sector beyond the conclusion of the internship. As part of the New Energy Internship Program, interns will be able to advance their professional careers and support Kosovo on its path to achieving a sustainable energy future.
